Volunteer
Tour fees are a charitable donation
As a volunteer participant, you receive a charitable donation receipt for your tour fee, which is tax deductable (consult with your tax professional). We direct your contribution into the restoration effort: providing dozens of jobs and job training for local people, purchasing material, and paying for local services, such as room and board. Your travel costs, such as airfare, visas, and lodging before and after the trip, are also tax deductable (consult with your tax professional).

Join a tour to an RWI project
We are currently working in Udaipur, India at the Bichli Haveli project in majestic and historic Rajasthan. The community and RWI are restoring the beauty of an ancient house and renovating it for a community and heritage resource center. Tour dates are available throughout the year, and custom dates can be arranged for groups of six or more.Lead a tour
Are you a RWI veteran? Ready to serve more? Have a big group? Become a group leader for our upcoming trips and be responsible for heading up a trip to a project site. We’ll give you the tools for pre-trip preparations and in-country coordination and leadership. RWI covers your trip fee and in-country costs – you’re responsible for your plane fare and visas. Generally, first preference is given to volunteers who have worked on-site on an RWI program.Help from home
